When I was in highschool, I got accepted into one of the top schools in Canada (or at least I was told it was one of the top schools in Canada). I didn't like it there, though. I felt like lots of people were bullying me. I would get sick all the time, and vomit a lot. So my parents kept me home from school, saying that I was sick.

"Coincidentally" I would tend to get sick right before any exam or presentation or any stuff like that was due, and so I'd miss all the in class tests and stuff. (I never actually noticed this coincidence until much later; from my perspective, I was just getting sick randomly). The school didn't believe I was sick. They thought I was faking it in order to get out of class. They asked me, one of the days when I was sick, to show up at their office just so that they could see that I was sick. The moment my parents tried to get me out of bed, I'd start puking again. So my parents told them I was too sick even to demonstrate my sickness.

I suspect what happened next was that they decided to schedule another test without telling me. So I'm in school, in class. And I think someone mentioned that there would be a test today. I don't really remember, because this being a school, it's normal to have tests. But as the day progressed, I got sicker, and then I puked in class. The school sent me home.

Later on, I was called in, along with parents, to see a councillor. His/her (I don't remember anything about the councillor) theory was that the tests was putting a lot of stress on me which is why I was getting sick. I hadn't even noticed that I was only getting sick when tests were coming up, and I hadn't associated my getting sick in school that day with knowing about a test, so I guess it was all part of my subconscious system. Anyway, they decided to transfer me to another school.
