Today I met up with GD and Emma for dinner.

The dinner didn’t go so well socially, and after we bid GD adieu, Emma and I went to a Starbucks to continue our argument. We shouted at each other enough that the staff gave us a free cupcake and coffee to get us to calm down and shut up (it worked).

We tried to see the CN tower, but we couldn’t make it in time, as Emma had to meet up with Taek at 10PM. She wanted me to come with her to meet Taek, so I went along, but my stomach was really gurgling, and I didn’t know how long I could last. I told her I could only say hi, and then GTFO in like 5 seconds.

When we got there, I ran to the bathrooms in the subway, but they were the filthiest things I’ve ever seen. We found Taek and I said hi, but then the two got into some sort of discussion. Apparently, Emma had planned to stay with Taek and his roommates, but when his roommates found out that Emma was a girl, they said no girls allowed in their dorm. This went back and forth for a while as they negotiated what exactly to do. But I was dying. I was dying on the ride the whole subway ride up here.

So I shook Taek’s hand, told him it was nice to meet him, and told Emma if she needed a place to stay, she could come to my place. And I bolted out of there back onto the subway.

On the way back to the hotel, I expelled the contents of my stomach onto the streets. =( I’m being intentionally vague about which orifice here.

I felt fine after that, and it turns out both Emma and Taek needed a place to stay, so they came over to my hotel, where we watched a bunch of Youtube clips.
