I went to Jamaica for a week. The resort I stayed at, Iberostar, generally had very good service. In Montreal, normally if you finish a drink, you'd have to signal to the waiter to bring come to your table so that you could ask for another one. There, they'd be watching you, and they'd see when you were almost finished your drink, and preemptively bring you a new one. You could go to a buffet, order something not actually available (e.g. a Caesar Salad), and they'd go fetch a chef from another restaurant to prepare it for you.

I got a can of coke, and on the can, there was a picture of Santa Claus. My first thought was "wow, this is an old can." but then I remembered that it's still January. The high temperature had misled me into thinking we were in the summer.

They did a show every night, and one of them was theme around 70s music. I was surprised by how many of these songs appeared in DDR: "In The Navy", "So Fabulous, So Fierce", "Let's Groove Tonight", "Shake Your Booty", "That's the way I like it", etc.

I got licensed as a scuba diver. We had to do written exams and underwater practical exams. I don't like diving in the ocean (the water is too salty), but diving in the pool is kind of fun.
