My friends have probably long forgotten now, but a very long time ago, I told my friends I had played this really cool game where you're a bacteria or something and you float around and eat stuff, and then you grow bigger and eventually evolve.

"Spore", Kilree said. Spore's this game by Will Wright, the guy who came up with SimCity and The Sims.

"No, it's not Spore," I said. "I played it online. It was like a Flash game. Or maybe a Java one."

Well, I found it now. The game is called flOw, and it was a thesis project by an arts student. It's an interesting game, but I don't think it would hold anyones interest for longer than a couple of hours.

The reason it came up now is that apparently the game will be released for the PS3. And apparently the gaming media industry is in love with the game. I predict a lot of people are going to be disappointed with it. Anyway, now you can play the Flash version for free, using the link above.
