The first of every month, I try to review my web log, adsense revenue, and my finances.

First of, it looks like I got some sort of denial of service attack on June 13th. Someone from Fremount California using the "Hurricane Electric" ISP hit this site between 4 and 6 AM about 19'000 times, and ate up around 243MB of bandwidth. They were downloading my entry.php file, but they didn't get the Google ads, so they probably weren't using a (convential) web browser. Wonder what that was all about.

My Adventures in Learning Japanese post still seems to be popular, and is still being linked from various places on the net. Popular search terms leading to my site, aside from the obvious "Nebu Pookins" seem to be people looking for information about 人妻姫倶楽部, or more specifically the female characters. My guess, they're looking for pictures of said characters. Well, unfortunately there are no plans to ever host an image gallery of any kind on this site. Still I'm making a mental note to review more H-Games.

Adsense was particularly good for me this past month: I made 51 cents, which is like 102 times more than I've ever made before. Hot topics which generate the most revenue seems to include wifi.

My finances are doing so-so. I've been spending a lot of money recently, but that's probably a one time thing (related to having Meiko buy PS2 games for me). The spending may continue for a bit because I'm planning on buying a cheap ($15) webcam, and a not so cheap ($400) mp3 player. The Rio Karma!
