Some technician from Bell came over on Thursday, and I don't know what he did, but now the phone jacks near my room don't work anymore. I was without Internet for a while until I put my modem in the kitchen and ran ethernet cable all the way from there to my room. After some shouting, Bell agreed to send a technician to fix whatever it was that they broke free of charge. This second tech isn't coming until Tuesday though.

Friday I had a pretty good DrumMania day. Passed 子供の落書き帳 with tight without ever getting into the danger zone, and got an A on たまゆら. I was passing 子供の落書き帳, たまゆら and Model DD3 consistently (I played たま 6 times, passing it each time) so I decided to give The Least 100 Sec a shot (with autocymbal). I made it pass the first hard part, but died in the second hard part. I was gonna try it again when Imperator showed up. I told him I was doing great today, and was about to demonstrate how far I can get in The Least 100 Sec. So first song, I did 子供の落書き帳 with standard judgement and hit danger during the last roll. Then I did たまゆら and failed it. I was pretty embarassed, but that was probably just a fluke, right? Well, I tried たま 2 or 3 more times, and each time I failed it. So I gave up and went home.

I think my finances are going pretty well, but it's difficult to tell. I'm trying to use Microsoft Money to forecast what my financial life will be like in 50 years. I already screwed up (irrepairably it seems), and had to delete my financial file and start over. I found out it's better, if you're not sure or if none of the options apply to you, to just leave a field blank rather than picking the "nearest equivalent". I was also a bit confused, because the money I'm investing in an RRSP account, well Money doesn't consider that to be an "Investment account", but rather a "Retirement Account" (one of the reasons I had to delete the whole file and start over).

I've put $216.00 in the TD Monthly Income fund so far, and I've already lost $0.01 due to roundoff it seems (they automatically withdrew $216 from my checking, and spend 215.99 to buy 14.958 units at $14.44 per unit, and threw away the left over penny, I guess).

I think I need to use my accounts, and perhaps a credit card, for 3 months or so before Microsoft Money can give me some more concrete data.
