I met up with Elias today and we played some DrumMania. What's funny is he kept asking me if I could do stuff, and I kept telling him I don't think I could do it, and then I did it. Told him I couldn't pass Children's Sketchbook these days anymore, and then I did the song anyway (3rd stage), and passed it. He asked me if I was good at Chocolate Philosophy, and I told him I couldn't S it, but then I did. Then he asked if I could pass Model DD4, and I told him back when I was good, I could, but I don't think I could do it now, so he gave it to me (S Black Horizon for me) and I passed it (though at the end, before the final roll even started, my bar was literally at zero; darkened, not flashing). Then I tried Tamayura autobass and told him I probably won't pass it, and did. So I caught on to the pattern now, and I made sure to tell him out loud "I don't think I can pass The Least 100 Sec Auto Cymbal" and then played it. Well, I failed. =(

My company wants to hire more programmers. All you really need to know to work here is Java, I think. You can learn the rest as you go. Helpful skills would be Eclipse plugin development, Cobol, XML (specifically XQuery and XUpdate), and a strong understanding of astract syntax trees and basic compiler type stuff (we're not actually writing a compiler though).
