The State of Qatar has been using children as young as four as jockeys for camel racing due to their light weight. This practice has drawn some international criticism, as some of the children were kidnapped or sold from their families, and fed very little to keep them light. So now they're going to use remote-controlled robots from a Swiss company. Apparently the robots have been successful enough in tests that they are considering building a factory in Qatar.
I dare say this sounds pretty cool to me as I don't really see a downside to this. Perhaps the families will have one less source of income, but selling children is generally seen as a bad thing by the general public anyway.
