Just go to Google Maps, and in the top right corner should be a link labelled "Satellite". The resolution varies with area. In my neighborhood, the resolution is good enough that you can make out certain blocks, but not houses. In other regions, you can not only make out individual houses, but even individual cars. I haven't been able to spot an individual person yet.
Aside from searching for your own house (e.g. "123 MyStreet, Montreal, Quebec"), you can also search for types of businesses (e.g. "Pizza near 123 MyStreet, Montreal, Quebec") and not only will you have a satellite photo of the restaurant, but also their phone number, the distance from the address you specified, and a link to their webpage. Pretty 1337.
"Arcades near 123 MyStreet, Montreal, Quebec" also works, but "Arcades with DrumMania V near 123 MyStreet, Montreal, Quebec" doesn't, unfortunately. Also, "Amusement 2000 + Plus" doesn't come up as an arcade near my house (though arcades much further than 2K are listed), which is strange, because GoogleMaps uses the YellowPages.ca database for businesses, which does have 2K listed in its directories.
