This guy made a "fan" website about a mall that was built in his town, and the mall sued him for it, and he won. He documented all the legal stuff he went through. Interesting if you run a website and fear that you might get sued, not nescessarily for doing anything wrong (I have such a fear).
Coincidentally, I saw The Incredibles today.
The site consists of over 100 "acts" (as in, "act five, scene two"), and I only read the first fifty or so before my eyes glazed over from reading all the paperwork he had to file. The one bit of advice I extracted from all of this is that there exists a site called Public Citizen which is a non-profit organization representing "consumer interests in Congress, the executive branch and the courts". The other bit of advice I extracted is things get a lot simpler if you don't make money off your site. Since I've only made about 85 cent from GoogleAds so far (that's gross), I've taken the GoogleAds out.
