At around 3AM today, a new named "FATSO.A" was released into the wild. It spreads via MSN: If your computer is infected, your computer will try to send files to people on your contact list with your knowledge. Typical filenames include "Annoying crazy frog getting killed.pif", "Crazy frog gets killed by train!.pif", "Fat Elvis! lol.pif", "How a Blonde Eats a Banana...pif", "Jennifer Lopez.scr", "LOL that ur pic!.pif", "Me on holiday!.pif", "Mona Lisa Wants Her Smile Back.pif", "My new photo!.pif", "See my lesbian friends.pif", "The Cat And The Fan piccy.pif", "Topless in Mini Skirt! lol.pif". So if someone sends you a file with a similar name, get suspicious.

In fact, if someone on your contact sends you a file or a web link out of the blue, ask them what it is they're trying to send you. If they respond with "What? I'm not sending you anything..." then you know you shouldn't accept whatever it is they're sending.

Once your computer is infected with FATSO.A, it will block several Internet sites. Mainly it'll block anti-virus web pages, to prevent you from being able to download something to remove it. AVG anti-virus doesn't seem to be blocked by it though, so if you get infected, you should probably download this anti virus program to get rid of it.
